Double Insulation
The Hilti TKT 2000/TKT 1300 are double-insulated for extra operator protection. The tools are equipped with a two-wire cord and two-prong plug which can be used on standard 115 volts outlets. When servicing use only identical replacement
Extension Cords
Use an extension cord heavy enough to carry the current your tool requires. An undersized cord will cause a drop in voltage, resulting in loss of power and overheating. The following list shows the cor rect size to use depending on cord length. lf in doubt, use the next heavier
gauge.
Note: The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the cord. The following are recommended American Wire Gauges (AWG)

Operation
Power Source: Before connecting your drill to an outlet, make sure that the power supply is 1 15 voits AC. Variable speed control switch The speed can be varied steplessly between zero and the maximum r. p. m. Locking collar
To ensure different types of screws (with and without sealing rings) a'e driven lo the right depth (c'sunk, flush or with stand-off), the drive is disengaged via the depth locator (5). The collar must lirst be pulled away
The driving power is transmitted via a claw coupling. They disengage again when the depth gauge touches the work surface (fig. lt is thus possible to connect the screw and stationary bit or adaptor while the machine is runninq.
