CAUTION Usage risk or incorrect use which could lead to only minor personal injury but considerable damage to property or the environment. Usage information which helps the user to employ the instrument efficiently and in a technically correct manner. Operation and use Inserting the batteries (PR 60) 1 LED blinks: Replace the batteries The LEDs blink alternately as long as some voltage is present: Batteries are discharged; the unit cannot be operated. Open the quick-release clamps on the tripod legs, pull the legs out to the required height and then close the clamps. Press the points of the tripod legs into the ground by applying foot pressure, thus ensuring that the tripod stands securely. When applying foot pressure to the tripod legs, ensure that the force applied acts towards the point of the leg. 31 3.
