[. . . ] [. . . ] Chemical resistance · At room temperature the cured silicone sealant is resistant for a short time to diluted (5%) acids and lyes/alkalis as well as commercially available cleaning agents and disinfectants (except those containing iodine). · Concentrated acids and lyes/alkalis destroy silicone rubber over time. Consequently, proper functioning of the sealant should be checked after exposure to a solvent / mineral oil.
