However, if you want the timer operation to execute on time, make sure to finish the other operations before the scheduled timer operation. If another operation is in progress at the same time as a timer operation is scheduled, the timer operation executes when the other operation is finished. For more information see page 5-3. q Note User Program and Index 3-5 TIMER OPERATIONS When Cancelling Timer Operations When cancelling timer operations, you must use the timer operation number. First print out the list of timer operations to confirm the timer operation number. (See page 5-3) 1 2 Perform steps 1 and 2 in the "When setting timer operations" section. (See page 2-17) USING CONVENIENT FUNCTIONS 1 Confidential Faxing Note 3-10 RELAY REQUEST In the same manner as broadcasting (See page 3-1), you can send several copies of the same original to multiple recipients. In broadcasting, the original is sent directly to the recipients, however in relay request the original is send to another fax machine, and sent from memory to the recipients. This function is convenient for sending the same original to recipients located far away. Also, if you enter a relay passcode, your fax machine can serve as a relay station, so it receives a relay request and broadcasts an original to several other fax machines. Also, when your fax machine serves as a relay station for relay broadcast, the requesting fax machine's fax number must be entered into the relay passcode of your fax machine. (See page Appendix-17) q User Program and Index 3-11 RELAY REQUEST Entering Relay Groups Before making a relay request, you must enter the relay group information (relay station, recipient). (The maximum number of recipients depends on the relay station's restrictions on rapid dial, speed dial, group dial, and fax numbers. ) You can enter a up to 10 relay groups.
