Lighting The lighting of the steam room can be set up so that it can be controlled from the steam generator control panel. Ventilation If there is a fan installed to the steam room, it can be connected to the steam generator. In this case the ventilation can be controlled from the steam generator control panel. All other maintenance must be left to professional maintenance personnel. Steam generators in community, institution and such use must be serviced thoroughly at least twice a year (checking and cleaning the reservoir, heating elements and the water level sensor). Water level Sensor Maintenance Open the water level sensor service hatch, disconnect the sensor cables and lift the sensor out (notice the order of the wires: greenH, redL, yellowC). If there are lime precipitates or other impurities on the tips of the water level sensor's pins (figure 5), the tips must be cleaned with sandpaper. If the plastic coating on the pins is damaged, the water level sensor must be replaced. Lime, which may in time block the internal parts of the steam generator. The amount of lime in water (water hardness) and thus the need for decalcification varies from region to region. If using other materials for the decalcification, follow the instructions in the packaging. Turn it off from the main switch (underneath the steam generator, see figure 10). Pour the citric acid solution in to the water reservoir and put the water level sensor with its wires back in. If the memory for power failures is on (see figure 3), the steam generator will start without pushing the I/O button. Turn the steam generator on with the I/O button and leave it on for one minute. Turn the steam generator off with the I/O button, empty the water reservoir and close the discharge valve. Turn the steam generator on with the I/O button and leave it on for 3 minutes.
