MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE · Turn the meter on by pressing ON/OFF. · The meter will first perform an LCD auto diagnostic test by displaying a full set of figures. · Then it will show a scrolling "c 214 Hanna Inst" message. · Wait for a few seconds and the display will show "-0. 0-". · Remove the cap and add the content of one packet of HI 93758-0 Phosphorus Reagent. · Replace the cap tightly and shake gently to mix for 2 minutes until most of the powder is dissolved. Ensure that the vial orientation respect to the holder is the same of the blank. · Press TIMER and the display will show the countdown prior to the measurement. For the program number, see the parameters reference table on page 17 or look at the list printed on the mask of the meter. · When the LCD displays "----", the meter is ready. On the secondary LCD "P1" will appear to inform that the first parameter measurement procedure (Ammonia LR) can be performed. · Press the PROGRAM M and PROGRAM L keys to select the desired parameter. 20 61 Phosphorus, Acid Hydrolyzable · Preheat the Hanna Reactor C 9800 to 150 °C (302°F).
