(2) Select operation mode Press MODE button. For each press, operation mode changes as follows: Operation mode AUTO COOL Remote controller Display board SWING HEALTH ON/OFF DRY HEAT FAN FAN MODE Unit will run in selected mode. TIMER CLOCK (3) Select temp. setting on LCD. SET SLEEP LOCK RESET (4) FAN Press FAN button. For each press, fan speed changes as follows: AUTO LO MED HI Unit will run at selected fan speed. COOL or DRY mode , otherwise, condensate water might occur. Hints As cold air flows downward in COOL mode, adjusting air flow horizontally will be much more helpful for a better air circulation. As warm air flows upward in HEAT mode, adjusting air flow oblique downwards will be much more helpful for a better air circulation. 9 Operation HEALTH Operation 1. HEALTH ON/OFF (2)TIMER mode selection PressTIMER button to change TIMER mode. Every time the button is pressed, display changes as follows: ON AM FAN MODE OFF PM ON AM N 12:00 OFF ON PM OFF 12:00 blank SWING 12:00 12:00 TIMER CLOCK TIMER ON TIMER OFF TIMER ON-OFF TIMER ON-OFF Select your desired TIMER mode (TIMER ON or TIMER OFF), ON or OFF will flash. SET SLEEP LOCK RESET (3)Timer setting Press HOUR / button. It can be adjusted within 24 hours. (4)Confirming your setting After setting correct time, press SET button to confirm, "ON" or "OFF" stops flashing. Timer mode indicator on indoor unit lights up. To cancel TIMER mode Just press TIMER button several times until TIMER mode disappears. Hints After replacing batteries or a power failure happens, Time setting should be reset. "ON" will flash. MODE SWING (3)Time setting for TIMER ON Press HOUR button. If button is kept depressed, time will change quickly. Time will be shown on LCD. [. . . ] Cause or check points When unit is stopped, it won't restart immediately until 3 minutes have elapsed to protect the system. When the electric plug is pulled out and reinserted, the protection circuit will work for 3 minutes to protect the air conditioner. During unit operation or at stop, a swishing or gurgling noise may be heard. (This noise is generated by refrigerant flowing in the system. ) During unit operation, a cracking noise may be heard.
