Loosen the tilt adjustment knob on the right side of the fan head slightly to allow the attached steel tube to pivot. Carefully insert the other end of the stand into the steel tube and align the holes. Carefully insert the screws from step 2 back into the holes and tighten them. If this happens, immediately disconnect the fan from the power outlet. The motor bearings have been permanently lubricated at the factory and do not require any additional lubrication. CLEANING WARNING!After servicing, any safety device (including grills and blades) must be reinstalled or remounted as previously installed.
