If you want to set up the device on wall shelves or in cupboards, please ensure that the device is adequately ventilated. There must be at least 10 cm space at the side, above and at the back of the device. When setting up the device, remember that furniture is often coated with various types of varnish and plastic, which often contain chemical additives. [. . . ] Display in CD-DA mode: the total number of tracks and the overall playing time.

Display in MP3/WMA mode: the number of the current file, then the track name and the elapsed playing time of the track. Display in CD-DA mode: the number of the current track and the elapsed playing time of the track or in MP3/WMA mode, open the selection menu with »9«. Display: »II«, the elapsed playing time of the track flashes. 4 To stop playback, press »7 CLR« twice.

Creating a playlist
You can create a track memory of up to 40 tracks from different albums (MP3/WMA) or up to 40 tracks (CD-DA) on the current CD in any order you choose and then play them back in that sequence. Programming is only possible in stop mode.
Selecting and storing tracks (MP3/WMA only)
1 Press »P/RANDOM ¥« to select the function. [. . . ] The IP address can be provided automatically by the router (automatic address) or it is entered manually in the router (staticaddress). If it is entered manually, this address must also be entered in the device.
NAS (network access storage)
The abbreviation NAS is used for devices that provide data from a hard drive to a network.
