K. Mains plug This apparatus is fitted with an approved moulded 13 Amp plug. To change a fuse in this type of plug proceed as follows: · Remove fuse cover and fuse. If the fitted plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted in its place. If a plug without a fuse is used, the fuse at the distribution board should not be greater than 5 Amp. [. . . ] · If this is the case, press the MODE key and within 2 seconds 3 or 4 to switch on the input attenuator. This reduces the antenna input sensitivity, thus reducing disturbances. ANTENNA CABLE Manual station search (manual tuning) · Briefly press the S or T key to tune in the corresponding direction in individual steps (25kHz). · If you keep the key depressed, you can rapidly scan large frequency ranges. · If you briefly press one of the S or T keys, manual tuning is automatically switched to. 28 RADIO Station memory 59 memory locations are available for storing stations. · Tune to the station you want to store with the station search function or manually. ­ The tuner software first checks the station memory for available memory locations. If all the locations are occupied, MEM FULL appears on the display for approx. ­ Assigning a station frequency to two different memory locations is not possible. The selected station is stored at the lowest available memory location, meaning that you do not need to enter a number for memory locations. ­ Every time the settings STEREO/MONO and ANTENNA/CABLE are changed, they are automatically stored. AUTO STORE function This tuner is equipped with a comfortable way to store all stations automatically. · Press and hold down MEMORY until the frequency on the display starts running and AS appears. ­ The tuner will start searching from the actual frequency and stores, first of all, all RDS stations that are not yet stored in the memory. ­ Then it searches for the strongest non-RDS station and finally the weak ones. ­ This function ensures you that all stations with an acceptable reception quality are stored in your station memory. · You can interrupt the AUTO STORE function by pressing MEMORY again. 1 FM 9750 GB MHz 2 AS 9870 MHz Calling up a stored station · When you want to call up a stored station, press 1 or 2. ­ The display shows the selected memory location number on the left, and the unit switches to this memory location. It is not possible to select a memory location which has not (yet) been assigned to a station. If you are situated at memory location number 5 and press once 2 the unit will jump to memory location 7 (provided this location has been assigned to a station). Storing stations · If you want to store a station, press MEMORY. ­ The first station which is stored is assigned to memory location 1, the second station to memory location 2 and so on. · If you want to move a stored station to another memory location, press MEMORY.
