If you add too much water, it will drip out from the back of the appliance. Caution 77 If cover A is not closed or the filter Basket H and the thermo jug E are not placed accurately, the drip-stop function will not function properly. Notes 77 The brewing process can be stopped at any Time by pressing the On/Off switch F . 77 The appliance is equipped with a drip-stop D located underneath the filter basket H and enables you to remove the thermo jug E briefly to pour coffee before the water has finished running through the machine. Caution 77 Make sure to place the thermo jug E on the Otherwise the filter could overcrowd and the brewed coffee could overflow. If you want to use the thermo jug for more than 30 seconds, switch off the appliance. 77 Do not remove the jug for more than 30 seconds during the brewing process. 77 Never pull out the filter basket H during the brewing process even if no water is draining from the filter. Extremely hot water or coffee can spill out from the filter basket and cause injury. 77 If water / coffee is not draining from the filter basket H after several seconds although the thermo jug has been affixed correctly, then unplug the appliance immediately and wait 10 minutes before opening and checking the filter basket H . 77 When the brewing process ends and the water tank C is empty, there will still be hot liquid in the filter basket H . Wait a few minutes for the rest of the liquid to drip into the thermo jug E . Notes 77 Upon completion of the brewing process, the unit can remain switched on. The coffee machine has a keep-warm function and can keep the brewed coffee warm for up to 30 minutes when the machine is switched on. 77 Let the appliance cool down at least 15 minutes between each brewing process. After opening a package of coffee reseal it tightly to maintain its freshness. 77 Do not reuse the coffee sediment in the filter since this will reduce the flavour. 77 Reheating coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavour immediately after brewing.
