If you should have difficulties in operating it, we recommend that you consult this user manual. To operate the device safely and easily, please read the following sections carefully: Application information This telephone is to be used for transmitting voice messages via telephone networks. Any other use is not permitted and is considered unfit for the intended use. [. . . ] Go to »Menu« / »Alarm/Clock« / »Clock Setting«. Enter the new time in the format Hours: minutes, then enter the new date in the format DD-MM-YY. Remark: In the event of an error during entry, the last number can be edited by pressing the »Esc« key. Set Time-Date hh:mm DD-MM-YY 12:34 01 / 05 / 07 Setting the alarm The alarm function allows the handset's ring to be activated every day at a time that you programme. When the alarm is activated, the selected ring is heard for 60 seconds through the headset's speaker and an alarm screen is displayed. Go to »Menu« / »Alarm/Clock« / »Alarm Setting«. Confirm using the »OK« key. ENGLISH 26 SOUND SETTINGS You can assign different melodies to internal and external calls. Setting the handset volume You can set the earpiece and Speaker (hands-free) volume separately. Go to »Menu« / »Sound Setting« / »Handset Volume«. Register HS Economy mode Handset Name Language Default HS Baby Call Activating/deactivating automatic pick-up Automatic pick-up when activated enables automatic pick-up as soon as the handset is removed from its base unit.
