If you do use it outdoors, make sure it is protected from moisture such as dripping or splashing water. If the device is exposed to sudden changes in temperature, for example when taken from the cold into a warm room, wait at least two hours before using it. Do not place any objects such as newspapers on the digital picture frame or put any cloth or similar items underneath it. [. . . ] 3 Select the »Photo« mode by pressing »a« or »s« and confirm with »OK«. ­ All available picture files are displayed as inset pictures. Photo 1/1 4 Select the picture with »a« or »s« or »A« or »S« and press »OK« to open it. ­ The inset picture appears as a full picture when paused (freeze frame). 5 Press »A« or »S« and »3« or »4« to open the previous or next picture. 6 Press » « to switch back to the inset picture display. 405062. jpg Note: If no button is pressed for six seconds while in the main menu, picture playback (slide show) begins automatically. Successive picture playback 1 Press »OK« in pause playback (freeze frame). ­ The pictures are automatically displayed one after the other as a slide show. Rotating pictures You can rotate the pictures by 90°. 1 During playback, press »a« or »s« repeatedly to rotate the pictures by 90°. II Note: In automatic picture playback, the picture is paused after rotating. Press »OK« to continue the automatic picture playback. 20 j PICTURE PLAYBACK -------------------------------------------------------------Enlarging pictures (zooming) This function enables you to enlarge individual pictures and move pictures sections on the screen. You can enlarge the picture in four steps (x2, x4, x8 and x16). x4 1 Press » « repeatedly to enlarge pictures. 2 Press »a« or »s« and »A« or »S« to move the picture section on the screen in the direction you want. 3 Switch back to the full picture by pressing » « repeatedly until the » x16« zoom display disappears from the screen. Note: In automatic picture playback, the picture is paused after enlarging. Press »OK« to continue the automatic picture playback. Viewing the function and information bar 1 Press »OSD« to view the function and information bar. Changing the picture format 1 Change the picture format during picture playback by pressing »4:3/16:9«. ­ If you select »4:3«, the 4:3 (or larger) pictures are displayed as full pictures and part of the edge will be cropped. ­ If you select »16:9«, 16:9 pictures (or higher) are displayed in the original size and black bars appear at the top and bottom of the screen. Notes: Pictures in 4:3 format can only be displayed in the 4:3 format. The full picture display remains even if you have selected »16:9«.
