If you do use it outdoors, make sure it is protected from moisture such as dripping or splashing water. If the device is exposed to sudden changes in temperature, for example when taken from the cold into a warm room, wait at least two hours before using it. Do not place any objects such as newspapers on the digital picture frame or put any cloth or similar items underneath it. [. . . ] The correct settings for the date and time must be made before these can function. Setup 2 Select the symbol using »a« or »s« and activate using »OK«. Note: Prerequisite for playback mode (pictures and music) is a data medium which contains the data required. After inserting the data medium a further selection symbol appears in the main memory menu: »SD/MMC« (memory card) or »USB« (removable storage medium). Photo 3 Select the »Photo« symbol using »a« or »s« and activate using »OK«. Note: If more than 9 pictures are stored, you can switch to the next pages of the inset picture display using »S«. 4 Select the picture by pressing »a« or »s« or »A« or »S« and open using »OK«. The pictures are then automatically displayed as full images one after the other (slide show). II 5 Press »e/II« to pause playback. 7 Press »7« to switch back to the inset picture display; or open the picture playback directly using »PHOTO«. ­ The picture playback starts automatically as a slide show. Rotating pictures You can rotate pictures by 90°. 180° 1 During playback, press »ROTATE« on the remote control repeatedly to rotate the pictures by 90°.
