Here's how to get started using iTrip: FM Transmitter for iPod Getting Started 1. Select an FM frequency on your stereo receiver. Choose a frequency on which you hear nothing but static with no audio in the background. Since DX mode produces a stronger, cleaner signal, you may want to switch to DX mode, especially if your iPod is far away from the receiver.
