Charge adaptor The charge adaptor supplied should be clamped to the screw terminals which you will find on the side of the charger, marked AUS (OUT) +, AUS (OUT) -. Take care to maintain correct polarity: red = positive terminal (AUS +), black = negative terminal (AUS -). If the connector on the charge adaptor does not match that on your battery, then you can easily make a new one from any Graupner charge lead by cutting it down to a length of no more than about 80 mm. The yellow LED (ready) will glow to indicate that the charger is ready for work. Caution: The 4 A current setting may only be used with 6-cell and 7-cell NC packs. Never charge a 4-cell or 5-cell pack at 4 A; the charger will overheat and be irreparably damaged. NORMAL CHARGING: if the green monitor lamp (normal) glows, the battery is already being charged at a low trickle current (pulsed charge). Caution: to avoid damage the charger and the battery to be charged should never be placed on a car seat or other delicate surface.
