Getting started for the first time
1. Replace 9 pieces of AA Ni-Zn battery with Ultra Alkaline battery (included in packing) in the battery hub. Charge for 4 hours by wall adaptor or 2 hours by car adaptor immediately.

LED indication
Press and hold the fuel-gauge switch to observe the LED indication: GREEN: ready to jump start YELLOW: recharge is recommended RED / ALARM: immediately recharge and replace the 9 pieces of AA Ultra Alkaline battery at the same time
SS103S
When to recharge
· To ensure successful jump starting, check the fuel-gauge indicator periodically and recharge SecureStart when the Yellow or Red light is on. · When the audio alarm beeps, recharge SecureStart and replace the 9 pieces of AA Ultra Alkaline battery immediately. · Choose from the optional wall or car adaptor supplied to make recharging SecureStart easy.
