[. . . ] Different contact plates for AA and AAA NiMH batteries are set in the outer and inner part of the charging slots respectively. 3) When inserting AAA batteries into the charging slots, slant the batteries to ensure smooth contact with the plates. If alkaline, carbon zinc, lithium, rechargeable alkaline or damaged batteries are mistakenly inserted into the charging slots, the corresponding Battery Icon and the Warning Icon will blink fastly and the charger will stop charging. [. . . ] Never use an extension cord or any attachment not recommended by GP, as this may lead to a risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury. Unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting to clean or when not in use. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undersired operation. Connect the provided AC cord with the charger and plug it into the power source. Insert AA or AAA NiMH batteries into the charging slots according to the polarity indications (+/-).
