This Service Guide provides you with all technical information relating to the BASIC CONFIGURATION decided for GIGABYTE's "global" product offering. To better fit local marketrequirements and enhance product competitiveness, your regional office MAY have decided toextend the functionality of a machine (e. g. add-on card, modem, or extra memory capability). These LOCALIZED FEATURES will NOT be covered in this generic service guide. If you are unable to insert the memory, switch the direction. 2-4-1 DualChannelMemoryConfiguration This motherboard provides four DDR3 memory sockets and supports Dual Channel Technology. After the memory is installed, the BIOS will automatically detect the specifications and capacity of the memory. Enabling Dual Channel memory mode will double the original memory bandwidth.
