This voltage is present even when the main power switch is in the off position. Orient the PCI card with the riser guide slot and push in the direction of the arrow until the PCI card sits in the PCI card connector. Align the riser bracket to the system module. 1 2 5 4 4 3 - 19 - Hardware Installation 2-6 Installing the Hard Disk Drive Read the following guidelines before you begin to install the Hard disk drive: • Take note of the drive tray orientation before sliding it out. • The tray will not fit back into the bay if inserted incorrectly. • Make sure that the HDD is connected to the HDD connector on the backplane. Slide the hard disk plate horizontally to the back and remove the plate in the direction of the arrow.
