They are the necessary indications for a better use of the control and adjustment operations, as well as the conservation and maintenance works to be performed on the motorbike, so that you get the biggest satisfaction when riding it. The aim of this manual is to help the user to minimise or avoid injuries to other people or damage properties or the environment, as well as to your new motorbike. [. . . ] Use the same type and make of oil as the one already inside the engine. 32 TXT Pro 2004 -18- Regularly verify the clutch fluid level through the window. 33 Each suspension bar must hold 310 cm3 of SAE5 oil. 34 TXT Pro 2004 -19- The front suspension is manually regulated. The right bar contains the damping regulation, the left one the hydraulic compression. The front suspension stopper must not reach higher than 9. 5 mm above the upper platen. If your motorcycle features a short bar, this distance should be 0 mm. It is important to dismantle and verify regularly the state of the swing arm and rear suspension bearings and seals. TXT Pro 2004 -20- 9, 5 mm 35 36 The linkage in the lower rear part of the bike should be regularly cleaned, verified and lubricated. The pressure of the shock absorber spring is regulated using the geared rings with the help of a special key. The spring length must be 140 mm. 37 38 B A TXT Pro 2004 -21- The rear brake fluid reservoir is in the centre of the frame. The brake pads wear must be periodically checked both at the front and at the rear for the best braking in any circumstance. 39 40 41 The brake fluid level may be c h e c k e d t h ro u g h t h e window in the brake fluid reservoir. TXT Pro 2004 -22- Air can be bled from the front and rear brakes by using the bleed nipples located on the calipers. The commands feature light, horn and engine stop switches. The fuel tank filler cap is a quick release model. It is advisable to check the state of the rubber seal in order to ensure that it is closing properly. TXT Pro 2004 -24- Clock operating instructions Functions Work mode. It indicates the distance covered since the last activation of the work mode. TOD Total distance covered since the clock was turned on for the first time. Note: In order to select any of the functions the motorbike must be steady for about ten seconds. One minute after selecting a function, the screen will turn off automatically. It will be activated again by pressing the MODE button or moving the bike. Work mode We select this option using the MODE button. When it is on, the screen displays the symbol and data are gathered to calculate the information displayed on screen in the Elapsed Time, Trip Distance, Max Speed and Average Speed functions. When OFF is selected, it stops capturing data and calculating, but the values are not lost and may be visualised at any time by selecting the corresponding function. The values will be automatically reset by reactivating the Work mode (ON). Elapsed time The Elapsed Time function displays the time passed since the last time the work mode was activated. After an hour, it shows hours and minutes. TXT Pro 2004 -25- Max speed It displays the maximum speed achieved from the moment the work mode was activated. Average speed It shows the average speed achieved since the start of the work mode. Total distance It visualises the total distance since the moment the equipment was turned on for the first time. The value accumulated is maintained permanently, even without batteries, and is independent of the condition of the work mode. Battery replacement Fig. [. . . ] The warranty components replaced within the warranty period shall end at the date of expiry of the warranty period agreed for the respective product. If it turns out that any defect cannot be removed, the warranty shall be entitled to demand termination of the contract (payment of a compensation) or partial reimbursement for the purchasing price (discount) instead of repair of the motorcycle. The warranty shall in no case be entitled to receive a new motorcycle as a substitute for the defective product. [. . . ]
