This will start to blink and you will hear a repetitive sound signal to notify you that you have between 1 ½ and 2 ½ minutes left before you run out of fuel. To pick up a passenger, hover slowly right above the passengers head and he will enter the helicopter. To release all the passengers, land at your base, right in the middle of the landing spot. In practice you will probably start off almost fully loaded and work your way towards almost empty as you fire the weapons and the fuel tank gets empty. Your actual load can be monitored on the "Weapon Select" screen. In some of the helicopters, performance varies greatly between "empty" and "fully loaded", while others will perform almost identically. There is also a big difference in what the term "fully loaded" actually means in reference to each helicopter. You will notice that for instance, a Bell Uh1b can carry almost twice the payload of a Super Cobra. This also means that a full weapon configuration will make a much bigger impact on the agility of the Super Cobra as it will be fully loaded, while the Bell Uh1b with the same weapon configuration, will only be half-loaded. Each property is shown with a relative value compared to the other helicopters. Chopper Alley 7 Forward Maximum forward velocity is usually in the range of 150 - 300 km/hour.
