Operate the cursor pad to place the cursor on the waypoint or leg desired in the route. Press the soft key GO TO WPT or FOLLOW LEG (depending on the choice at step 4). Green lines connect all route waypoints and arrows on the lines point in the direction to traverse the route. Navigate along specific leg of route Place the cursor on the leg to display it in a white and red flashing line, and then press the soft key FOLLOW LEG. 7-3 Restarting navigation When you steer to avoid an obstacle or the vessel drifts, you may go off your intended course (Line 1 in Figure 7-7). Also, if you don't need to return to the original course, you can go directly to the waypoint (Line 2 in Figure 7-7) using the restart function as on the next page. Line 2 Setting speed for ETA calculation Speed, which may be input manually or automatically, is required to calculate ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) to a waypoint. Press the soft key SPEED.
