However, you can't · divide a batting stat by a pitching stat or vice versa (e. g. , AB/IP), or · use stats in ratios that are already ratios (i. e. , BA, ERA, SLG). About Infinite Ratios The value of a ratio is infinite when its denominator is zero. For example, if you enter MAX W/L, you'll see this: INF means that Ben Shields never lost a game. When you type requests with ratios, you'll often want to limit the denominator to see players with significant at-bats, innings pitched, etc. See "Adding a Limiter" to learn how. 35 Advanced Requests 3B This section shows how to add limiters and qualifiers to your requests. 36 Adding a Limiter To limit the statistical range of your player requests, type a limiter after MAX or MIN and the stat or ratio.
