[. . . ] If you believe that your vehicle has a defect which could cause a crash or could cause injury or death, you should immediately inform the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in addition to notifying Ferrari S. If NHTSA receives similar complaints, it may open an investigation, and if it finds that a safety defect exists in a group of vehicles, it may order a recall and remedy campaign. However, NHTSA cannot become involved in individual problems between you, your dealer, or Ferrari S. [. . . ] In the event that the extinguisher is used, it is advisable to remove the whole unit, in order to prevent the protrusions represented by the fastening brackets from encumbering the passenger foot area. For its use, follow the specific instructions illustrated on the extinguisher itself. When replacing one or more wheels, it is necessary to: ­ Replace the stud bolts whose threaded or tapered part have been damaged. ­ Avoid at all costs to lubricate the contact surfaces between the stud bolt and the wheel rim, and between the rim and the disk brake. In order to prevent the anti-locking product from being removed, do not use solvents or aggressive products on the wheel rim tapering. The car can be supplied with the following kit on request: · Emergency spare wheel (A) with Reduced tire size (T 115/70 R19") the plate (B) indicates the maximum allowed speed 50 mph (80 Km/h). Always keep the spare wheel in good working condition, checking regularly that the inflation pressure is 62 psi (4, 2 bar). The spare wheel must only be used in emergencies and for short periods of time. When the spare wheel is mounted, never exceed the maximum speed of 50 mph (80 Km/h) and drive with care, especially on curves and when overtaking, avoiding sudden acceleration or braking. Failure to comply with these rules could lead to a loss of control of the vehicle with consequent damage to the car and its occupants. Make sure the car is on a flat surface, engage the 1st gear and lock the rear wheels with the parking brake. If necessary, turn on the hazard lights and place the emergency warning triangle at the required distance. Take out the spare wheel and the tools from their storage space in the luggage compartment, detaching their fastening belts (A). Place the jack (C) on the flat and solid surface, next to one of the lifting points (D) marked under the car's floor panel. Lift the car carefully, using the jack (C), until the wheel is no longer touching the ground. Failure to position the jack correctly could cause the car to fall, and could result in personal injury. The jack supplied with the car must only be used when changing the wheels. Tighten the stud bolts completely, moving from one stud bolt to the one diametrically opposite it, according to the order shown in figure. As soon as possible, ensure the stud bolts are fully tightened with the torque wrench at a torque setting of 74 lb. After removing the spare wheel support (E), put back and fasten the tool kit and the removed wheel in the luggage compartment. As an option, the vehicle can be equipped with a luggage set, consisting of two rigid suitcases and a soft garment bag (Pininfarina design), available in two versions: 1) Modena leather or same colour as the vehicle interiors (360modena/ spider suitcases). Due to the presence of the spare wheel kit, it is not possible to store two hard-shell suitcases, as the luggage space is reduced. [. . . ] Depending upon the damage, complete component units or individual parts can be replaced. Any straightening attempts made on the original piece that is damaged, which can be attempted on normal steel bodywork, are not permitted in the case of aluminium bodywork. This is because aluminium materials offer little possibility of being restored to their original shape. Normally only welding is used for joining parts in the space frame sector. [. . . ]
