[. . . ] To contact NHTSA, you may either call the Auto Safety Hotline toll-free at 1-800-424-9393 (or 1-703-366-0123 in Washington, D. You can also obtain other information about motor vehicle safety from calling the Hotline. However, no specific tests have been carried out to assure the reliability of the system when using fuel containing alcohol. Consequently, we suggest that our customers do not use fuel containing alcohol on Ferrari vehicles. [. . . ] Under sports driving conditions with high engine speed gearshifts, double clutching downshifting is performed automatically. We advise you not to use the "SPORT" mode on roads with low or medium grip conditions (e. Presence of ice, snow or wet asphalt), as such conditions can cause skidding of the driving wheels during gear-shifting. Therefore, racing-type car driving in the "SPORT" mode is advisable only on tracks. It is a good rule to deactivate the other specific operating modes ("Low Grip", "Automatic") before selecting the "SPORT" mode. In the event of malfunctioning of the control lever unit, besides activating the acoustic alarm and switching on the failure warning light (B, see page 3. 8), the system will automatically select the "Automatic" mode and any gearshift change command, including requests for "N" and "R", will be ignored. Request "UP" while the vehicle is gaining speed with the gearshift in "N". In any case, avoid this procedure except in the event of an emergency!Pull the parking brake, engage the 1St gear both uphill and downhill, turn the wheels and switch off the engine (this procedure is valid for all versions with either the mechanical or "F1" transmission). First gear has the lowest transmission ratio of all the gears and therefore provides the most effective engine brake. When replacing one or more wheels, it is necessary to: Replace the stud bolts whose threaded or tapered part have been damaged. Avoid at all costs to lubricate the contact surfaces between the stud bolt and the wheel rim, and between the rim and the disk brake. In order to prevent the anti-locking product from being removed, do not use solvents or aggressive products on the wheel rim tapering. The car can be supplied with the following kit on request: · Emergency spare wheel (A) with Reduced tyre size (T 125/80 R17") the plate (B) indicates the maximum allowed speed 50 mph (80 Km/h). Always keep the spare wheel in perfect working condition, checking regularly that the inflation pressure is 62 psi (4, 2 bar). The spare wheel must only be used in emergencies and for short periods of time. When the spare wheel is mounted, never exceed the maximum speed of 50 mph (80 Km/h) and drive with care, especially on curves and when overtaking, avoiding sudden acceleration or braking. Failure to comply with these rules could lead to a loss of control of the vehicle with consequent damage to the car and its occupants. Make sure the car is on a flat surface, engage the 1st gear and lock the rear wheels with the parking brake. If necessary, turn on the hazard lights and place the emergency warning triangle at the required distance. Take out the spare wheel and the tools from their storage space in the luggage compartment, detaching their fastening belts (A). [. . . ] Reinforcement sheets and gussets are made of aluminum and they are highly resistant. The bodywork is completed by the outer sheet pieces such as mudguards, side panels and roof, which, depending on the car model, can be joined to the space frame by means of various connection techniques. The moving parts of the body that are fastened with screws such as front hood, the rear engine hood and the doors, complete the bodywork. If the aluminum parts are damaged, the repair work must always consist in replacement of the piece. [. . . ]
