These numbers are located on the product, packaging, and in this owners manual. [. . . ] We recommend betting either pass, or don't pass, come, or don't come, (explained below). Pass Placing a bet on the pass line means the player is betting on the shooter to win. This is an even bet (a player bets 1 chip and gets on plus the original betting chip if they win). Don't Pass Placing a bet here means that a player is betting against the shooter. If the shooter throws craps on his first roll or rolls a 7 before he hits his box point, and therefore looses, the bettor wins. Once again, this is an even (1 to 1) bet, but it gives slightly better odds than the pass line because if the shooter throws a 12 on the first roll, the bettor does not lose (even though the shooter does) it's a push (tie). Place Bets After a point has been established, a player can then make a place bet. The bettor places his be on the gold numbers between the "Don't Come" bars at the top of the mat. If you feel that before the next 7 is rolled there will be a 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 rolled, you may place a bet on any or all of those numbers by telling the dealer. Place bets pay different odds depending on the number placed. © 2004 Escalade Sports 5 For Customer Service Call 1-866-556-2759 4 and 10 pay 9 to 5 (5 chips pay 9), 5 and 9 pay 7 to 5 (5 pay 7), 6 and 8 pay 7 to 6 (6 pays 7). The only difference between the two is that a player makes a come bet after the shooter's point has been determined. After the come bet is placed on 1 of the squares labeled "come" the next roll of the dice will establish a new point, called the come point (as apposed to the original box point). Remember that 2, 3, or 12 lose in the first roll after the come bet. ) Don't Come Bets This bet is the same as the come bets, only in reverse. It is the same as Don't Pass line, only the dealer places your chips behind the come point as it is rolled. Remember, when a player wins on the "come", he would lose on the "don't come". Betting Odds On Come Bets A player can take odds on come bets exactly the way he can take them on the line bets. The only difference is that he gives his chips for the odds to the dealer, who will place it on the come point. Seven Placing chips in the "Seven" box (just below "Casino Craps") makes a one roll bet that the next number is a 7. When the word "for" is used in expressing payoffs, it counts your original bet into the return. So a return of "4 to 1" is the same as "5 for 1") the house edge is bigger on this bet that on most others. Hard Ways In the area on the mat below the "Seven" rectangle, players can bet that the specific set of dice pictured on the map comes up with the combination of numbers shown before a 7 is rolled. If a 7 comes up or the total on the dice comes up in a different way, the bettor loses. [. . . ] beats A, Q, J, 10, 9. Variations: You could use standard dice by simply playing 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 , 1 corresponding to A, K, Q, J, 10, 9. In Indian Dice the 1 corresponds to an Ace and is ranked high, or in yet other versions 1s are wild, in which case they count as any value. Other versions of both Poker and Indian Dice allow subsequent players only as many throws of the dice as the first. PAI GOW This is a popular Chinese gambling game played with one set of dominoes; do not confuse it with Pai Gow Poker. Pai Gow Poker is a game created in California to get around gambling laws played with a deck of regular cards and very elaborate rules. [. . . ]
