Introduction Fax Modem Installation CD is an installation utility for external Data / FAX Analog Modems. It automatically detects and installs recently installed modem hardware under Windows OS. This utility includes Install Driver, Install Software Utilities, User Manual and Readme four sections. Click Install Driver to start analog modem device driver installation process. Install Software Utilities includes "FAX TALK Communicator SE" (all modem software driver installation program), Adobe Reader and Panda Antivirus Platinum. modem software driver locations and modem hardware installation instructions. User Manual includes this user's manual and specs for modem this utility supports. Readme includes 1. 1 System Requirements [For Windows 2000 & XP] Pentium 100 MHz CPU or faster 32 MB system memory or more 10 MB free space on your hard drive 256-color VGA or higher resolution CD-ROM drive One available PCI slot for internal modem. Hardware Installation Instructions 2. 1 USB Analog Modem 1) Connect modem and PC with USB cable. 2) Plug one end of RJ-11 cable into modem's LINE jack and the other end into telephone wall jack. 3. Software Driver Installation 3. 1 Modem Software Driver Installation Procedures Insert FAX Modem Installation CD into CD-ROM drive then window below will appear. Install Driver: Click Install Driver to start analog modem installation process. [. . . ] Just simply click "Cancel" to close the windows. Step 2: Please insert your installation CD into your CD drive, and then the CD will auto-run and show the main installation screen as below. Please click "Install Driver" to start the installation. 7 Step 3: Please wait for while during the easy setup program installs the driver. Step 4: After Device Drier was installed successfully, click "OK" to exit.
