Cabinets The XLC system is designed for use in groups of four or more cabinets. As with the X-Line, three different cabinets offer maximum flexibility for applications. They are the XLC 127 main cabinet, the XLC 124 down fill cabinet, and the XLC 118 subwoofer. Intelligent cabinet design minimizes the distance between drivers from cabinet to cabinet, maintaining true line-array characteristics even in curved-front arrays. Most importantly, the XLC uses EV's revolutionary vertical plane-wave generator to correct high-frequency phase response and make vertical wave-front summing exceptionally coherent. All this adds up to incredible sonic clarity and uniformity, even in hard-to-cover areas.
