[. . . ] · When using another manufacturer's arm or stand, confirm the following in advance and select one conforming to the VESA standard. - Clearance between the screw holes: 200mm × 200mm - Strong enough to support weight of the monitor unit (except the stand) and attachments such as cables. - The screws supplied with this monitor (M6 × 16mm, 4 pcs. ) · When attaching an arm or stand, do not use the screw holes for mounting the stand. · When using an arm or stand, attach it to meet the following tilt angles of the monitor. - Up 45°, down 45° · Connect the cables after attaching an arm or stand. · When setting the monitor to the portrait style, turn the monitor screen 90° in clockwise direction. Do not install the monitor in the wrong orientation. Procedure 1. Lay the LCD monitor on a soft cloth spread over on a stable surface with the panel surface facing down. 2. Loosen the screws (four) securing the unit and the stand with the screwdriver. 3. Attach the arm or stand to the monitor. Mount the arm or stand using the supplied screws. Chapter6Reference 23 6-2. How to Install the Wall Mounting Device The monitor and AC adapter can be attached to a wall mounting device. Attention · · · · · · · · · Ask an installation contractor for the attachment. When installing a wall mounting device, follow the instructions of its User's Manual. -Monitor: The screws supplied with this monitor (M6 × 16mm, 4 pcs. ) -AC adapter: Screws on the backside (3 pcs. ) Attach the AC adapter in the correct orientation in accordance with the procedure. After the attachment of the AC adapter, be sure to tighten the screws on the backside. Dropping them may result in injury or equipment damage. Procedure 1. Lay the LCD monitor on a soft cloth spread over on a stable surface with the panel surface facing down. 2. Loosen the screws (four) securing the unit and the stand with the screwdriver. 3. Install the wall mounting device and attach the monitor to it. Mount the arm or stand using the supplied screws. 4. Attach the AC adapter to the wall mounting device. Remove the three screws from the backside of the AC adapter. Screws(3) Attach the AC adapter as shown below using the screws removed. Do not attach the AC adapter in the wrong orientation.
