Before turning on the power, make sure that the volumes of the subwoofer and the amplifier are set to minimum. If you hear an abnormal sound while the audio equipment is operating at a high volume, turn the volume down. If you continue to use the amplifier at the high volume, or use it for a long time while it is producing distorted sound, the speaker will heat up, and this could lead to fire.
