Operate the control to check that the inner cable slides smoothly inside the outer cable: if you feel any rubbing or catching, have the cable replaced by a Ducati Dealer or Authorized Service Centre. To prevent problems, periodically lubricate the ends of each control cable with SHELL Advance Grease or Retinax LX2.
