To turn off the device: Please turn the control knob in `off', then remove the plug from the electricity socket. The dish and grill of the unit should never be covered by aluminium foil. Use extreme caution when taking out your dish from the oven or when cleaning hot grease or other hot liquids. Parts could become loose and land on the heating element, which in turn could shortcircuit the unit. Food that is too large or metal accessories should not be put inside the oven, because they could cause a fire or shortcircuit the unit. Fire could erupt when the unit is connected to or covered by flammable materials such as towels, curtains, wallpaper, etc. Never place any objects on top of the oven when it's cooking something. Use extreme caution when using plates or dishes that exist solely out of metal or glass ?Never place any of the following items inside the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper or anything similar ?Only store away accessories that came with the oven inside the unit when you are not using it. Attention: the unit cannot be used with an external timer or through a separate remote control. Keep the electrical cord removed from hot parts and never cover the oven. With help of the temperature knob, you can set your desired temperature ranging from keeping warm (110°C) to baking and grilling (250°C). these are: : grilling, roasting and baking on plate with upper heating (meat, fish, steaks, oven dishes, gratin dishes or subs) : baking and roasting with upper and lower heating (cake, cookies & meat) : grilling on the spit with upper and lower heating as well as turning spit (meat & poultry) ATTENTION: When using the functions of upper heating as well as grilling on the spit, you need to open the oven door slightly (about 4 cm or approximately 2 inches). You always need to set the time in order to start the cooking process. Should your dish be cooked ahead of the timer running down, you can simply turn the knob into the "off" position. When the timer runs down, you will hear a short ringing sound to warn you. aCCESSORIES The baking plate is used for baking cake, preparing oven dishes or baking subs. When grilling, we advise you to put the grill plate on top of the casserole to avoid excess grease to land on the heating elements. To remove the baking and grill plates, please always use the designated handles. The grill spit is used for grilling meat and poultry through rotating (also named rotissery). [. . . ] Grilling with spit: -Poultry needs to be slid onto the spit (drumsticks and wings need to be pinned down as well), so as to not hinder the spit when turning. -Place the grill spit as mentioned above and turn the knob into position: -Make sure the oven door is opened slightly (about 2 inches, or 4 cm). -When your meat or poultry is done, use then designated handle to remove the spit from the oven.
