Insert the Digital Movie Creator software CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. If the program doesn't automatically begin, go to the desktop and double-click My Computer. Double-click the CD-ROM drive that contains the Digital Movie Creator software. [. . . ] Press the Down Arrow button until Delete is highlighted and press the OK button to select. From the Delete Menu, highlight Delete Last using the Down Arrow button and press the OK button to select. When asked to confirm that you want to delete the item, press the OK button to select "Yes". The last item you recorded is now deleted. 12 Using the Camera To delete all items on the camera at once: 1. Open the Display Screen and press the Snapshot or Record button to turn on the camera. Press the Down Arrow button until Delete is highlighted and press the OK button to select. From the Delete Menu, highlight Delete All using the Down Arrow button and press the OK button to select. When asked to confirm that you want to delete all, use the Down Arrow to highlight "Yes. " Press the OK button to select. Open the Display Screen and press the Snapshot or Record button to turn on the camera. Your first image or a still image of the first frame of your first video will be shown on the Display Screen. Use the Right Arrow button to scroll through images and videos until you see the item you want to protect. 13 6. When the item you want to protect is on the Display Screen, press the Up Arrow button to enter the Image File Menu. Highlight Protect using the Down Arrow Button and press the OK button to select. From the protect menu, use the Up and Down Arrow buttons to select Lock and press OK to select. Your video or image is now protected and won't be deleted if you accidentally select Delete or Delete All. Note: You'll need to unprotect videos and images if you want to delete them later. Choosing the image or video quality There are two quality settings: High- Images will look clear, but will take more space than Normal quality images. Normal - Images take up less space, but aren't as clear as high quality images. Open the Display Screen and press the Snapshot or Record button to turn on the camera. The icon on the Display Screen will change to indicate your choice. 14 Using the Camera Note: To change the quality of still images, you'll need to switch to Snapshot mode by pressing the Snapshot button once. Setting the sleep timer Your camera will go to sleep if it is not used for 3 minutes. Open the Display Screen and press the Snapshot or Record button to turn on the camera.
