Rectifying faults Fault The alarm does not sound even though the pin has been pulled out. Cause - The battery is exhausted. Insert a new battery. The alarm sounds but only weakly. Maintenance and cleaning You should regularly check the mini personal alarm to see if it is safe and working properly. Use a dry or slightly moist cloth for cleaning the device, if necessary impregnated with a little mild soap solution. Never use petrol, thinners or similar chemicals. Disposal Dispose of packaging materials, exhausted batteries and worn out devices at a local authority approved disposal facility.
