Multi-zone playback using the ZONE2 and ZONE3 PREOUT terminals ¢ When using the power amplifier as the MAIN ZONE output · The AVR-4806CI is equipped with pre-out terminals for which the volume is adjustable and video output terminals (composite and S-Video) as the ZONE2/ZONE3 output terminals. · When using just one speaker in ZONE2 (ZONE3), select "Mono" at "Channel Setup" in the "System Setup Menu" ( page 115). In this case, the ZONE2 (ZONE3) monaural output is output from both the left and right channels of the ZONE2 (ZONE3) PREOUT terminals, so connect to either one. Example: ZONE2 (Remote control unit) Press the ON button to turn on the zone power. Press the OFF button to turn off the zone power. Select the input source you wish to output. The volume of the outputs of the different zones can be adjusted with the VOLUME button on the remote control unit. The output level can be controlled only if the zone volume level is set "variable" at "Volume Control" in the "System Setup Menu" ( page 118).
