Manual abstract: user guide DELONGHI XTE 600N B

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] When not in use or before cleaning or maintenance, always unplug the appliance from the mains socket. If you wash the filters, make sure they are completely dry before replacing in the appliance. Use the appliance for domestic purposes only as described in the instructions. Do not pull the power cable out beyond the point indicated by the red mark. [. . . ] 2) The telescopic extension enables the hose to be extended to the required length (fig. 5) To clean upholstered furniture, mattresses, garments, car seats etc. Particularly suitable for removing dust from fabric, furniture, books, curtains, frames and clothing. TOOL HOLDER The tool holder on your appliance enables you to keep the smallest tools close at hand. After attaching the tools to the tool holder, hook the tool holder to the telescopic extension near the handgrip. (See figure). INSTRUCTIONS Before using the appliance, extract the power cable completely and plug into the mains. Operation To turn the vacuum cleaner on, lightly press the ON/OFF pedal (fig. 8). 12 Suction power regulation Turn the power regulator to electronically regulate suction power according to the type of surface to be cleaned. The maximum power of the appliance can therefore be exploited to vacuum dust from carpets or hard floors (marble, ceramics, cotto, etc) and a lower suction power to clean curtains or other light fabrics. Safety device The appliance has a safety device which trips and turns the appliance off if the motor overheats. To turn it on again, unplug from the mains, eliminate the cause of the overheating (eg. clogged nozzle, dust drum full, filters dirty, see the "Cleaning" chapter) and leave the appliance to cool down (at least 20 minutes). If the appliance does not come on, contact a service centre. CLEANING When the collected dust reaches the MAX level marked on the dust collection drum, the drum must be emptied. Empty the drum (ordinary cleaning) 1) Extract the drum completely by gripping the handle and pressing the button (fig. The drum lid opens and the dust drops into the bin; 3) Close the cover. Clean the filters in the drum (regular cleaning) Regularly and whenever the appliance becomes less efficient, you are recommended to clean the dust collection system thoroughly. 3) Clean the HEPA* filter by shaking it and brushing it with a brush (fig. 13) (do not use wire or hard bristle brushes as they could damage the filter material). About every six months or so, the filters should be washed under running water. 4) Dry the filter thoroughly; 5) Replace the filter in the drum; 6) Close the drum and replace in the appliance. * The HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter removes impurities down to a size of 0. 3 microns, filtering all types of particle and even bacteria. Note: Make sure the HEPA* filter is always inserted in the drum before replacing the drum on the appliance. Using the appliance without the filter could cause damage to the motor. Air outlet filter Depending on the model, your appliance is fitted with a microfilter or high efficiency filter (HEPA Filter*) This is housed under the air outlet slits. [. . . ] With the exception of authorised De'Longhi centres, no person or company is authorised to repair our products. No third party is authorised to assume responsibility for our products on our behalf. This guarantee is valid for a twelve month (one year) period from the date of sale to the first consumer. The tax code or number of an alternative identity document of the purchaser must be given on the official receipt. [. . . ]
