Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or has been damaged in any manner. The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the manufacturer. [. . . ] Choose your desired temperature by turning the adjustable thermostat knob from low to high (or high to low) setting. When the appliance reaches the set temperature, the green ready light will illuminate and 6 beeps will sound to let you know it is time to pour the waffle (pancake) batter into the bottom of the grid (Belgian plate). The appliance will maintain the set temperature during the entire baking process. It will light up again along with 3 beeps to let you know the waffle is done. metal knife as this may damage the non-stick coating. NOTE: The waffle maker does not turn off automatically after baking is complete. The only way to turn off the waffle maker is to remove the plug from the outlet.
