Proceed as follows: With the appliance on, hold the function selector knob (G) down for at least 10 seconds until the display shows: FILL TANK and at the same time steam delivery stops. If the water is not topped up within ten minutes, the steam generator is automatically shut off and the iron continues working. To top up the water, turn the appliance off, unplug from the mains and fill the tank. Then turn the appliance on again following the normal procedure. CHANGE LANGUAGE? Press the knob to change the language, then turn it to select the required language. The display shows: MANUAL MODE If none of the programmes are suitable for the ironing you want to do, you can manually set the sole plate temperature and steam power. Proceed as described: · With the appliance on, press the manual mode button (G) (fig. The display shows: CHANGE LANGUAGE? Turn the function selector knob again to select water hardness. The display shows: SET WATER HARDNESS Confirm by pressing the knob, then turn to select the appropriate level of hardness: SOFT, MEDIUM, HARD, VERY HARD. It displays: MANUAL and the TEMPERATURE bar flashes; · Turn the knob (H) until the required temperature is reached: MIN = MAX = Confirm by pressing the knob.
