If "Energy Saving" mode is active, you may have to wait a few seconds before the hot water is delivered. The machine is set by default to automatically delivery 250 ml of hot water. Press the button again until "Hot Water Program Quantity" is displayed, then release the button. When the hot water in the cup reaches the required level, press the button again. When removing the drip tray, the grounds container must be emptied, even if it contains few grounds. If this is not done, when you make the next coffees, the grounds container may fill up more than expected and clog the machine.
