It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. Assi stance Please refer to the guarantee leaflet enclosed for service and assistance details. 14 Installation El ectrical connections ENGLISH Before plugging the appliance into the mains socket, check that: · The mains power supply corresponds to the power supply indicated on the rating plate. · The power socket and electrical circuit are adequate for the appliance. If this is not the case, have the plug replaced by a qualified electrician; · The mains socket is adequately earthed. Instal lation MIN. 60 cm fig. 1 Position the appliance in the room to be dehumidified. Please follow the minimum distances between the appliance and furniture or walls, as stated in fig. Failure to do so would obstruct ventilation, jeopardising correct operation of the appliance. You should keep all doors and windows closed while the appliance is in operation. If doors and windows are opened, the temperature and humidity in the room may change and it could therefore require longer to dehumidify the room. With temperatures of less than 1 °C or above 40 °C, dehumidification is automatically deactivated and the appliance switches to fan only mode. 50 cm If the humidity is lower than 20%, the safety circuit triggers automatically and the dehumidifier shuts down to avoid damage. If the humidity in the room drops, the dehumidification capacity is automatically reduced.
