As with any electrical appliance, whilst the instructions aim to cover as many eventualities as possible caution and common sense should be applied when operating and installing this air conditioner. · This appliance is designed to dehumidify domestic rooms and must not be used for other purposes. Before plugging the appliance into the power socket, check that: · The mains power supply corresponds to the power supply indicated on the rating plate. · The power socket and electrical circuit are adequate for the appliance. If this is not the case, have the plug replaced by a qualified electrician; · The power socket must be adequately earthed; Failure to respect this safety rule absolves the manufacturer from all liability. This appliance is manufactured in compliance with EEC standard EN 55014 on the suppression of radio interference. · The cable must be replaced by approved service personnel only. 14 Installation ENGLISH Inst ructions for fitting the wheels 1) Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains and the tank is empty 2) Remove the rubber caps from the base of the appliance by pulling them out, using pliers if necessary (see Figure 1/1). 3) Fit the wheels by inserting the shafts into the holes (see Figure 1/2) Note: When performing these operations, make sure the appliance is not tilted over 45°; in any case, after fitting the wheels, wait at least one hour before using the appliance again. Installation Position the appliance in the room to be dehumidified: A free space of at least 50 cm must be left at the front of the humidifier, so as not to block the air outlet. A space of around 5-10 cm should be left at the rear of the appliance for aeration. Condensate can be drained in one of two ways: A) Draining into the tank The condensate can be drained directly into the tank located inside the appliance (fig. This device protects the compressor against too frequent starts and stops. When the room temperature is too low, the electronic low temperature operation device is activated.
