Replace Priority with - Click the corresponding box if you want to re-write the 802. 1p default priority of a packet to the value entered in the Priority (0-7) field, which meets the criteria specified previously in this command, before forwarding it on to the specified CoS queue. Otherwise, a packet will have its incoming 802. 1p user priority re-written to its original value before being forwarded by the Switch. Priority (0-7) Replace DSCP (0-63) VLAN Name Source IP Destination IP DSCP (0-63) Select this option to instruct the Switch to replace the DSCP value (in a packet that meets the selected criteria) with the value entered in the adjacent field. Source IP Address - Enter an IP Address mask for the source IP address. Destination IP Address - Enter an IP Address mask for the destination IP address. This field allows the user to enter a DSCP value in the space provided, which will instruct the Switch to examine the DiffServ Code part of each packet header and use this as the, or part of the criterion for forwarding. This field allows the user to modify the protocol used to configure the Access Rule Table; depending on which protocol the user has chosen, or configured in the Access Profile Table. in the Access Rule Table to view the following Protocol Port Number To view the settings of a previously correctly configured rule, click window: Figure 6- 62. Access Rule Display window (IP) To configure the Access Rule for Ethernet, open the Access Profile Table and click Modify for an Ethernet entry. The user may display all Access ID entries by clicking the View All Entry button. Access Rule Configuration window (Ethernet) To set the Access Rule for Ethernet, adjust the following parameters and click Apply. Parameters Profile ID Mode Description This is the identifier number for this profile set. Select Permit to specify that the Switch, according to any additional rule, forwards the packets that match the access profile added (see below). Select Deny to specify that packets that do not match the access profile are not forwarded by the Switch and will be filtered. Type in a unique identifier number for this access or use Auto Assign.
