IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: 1. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not put motor base of blender in water or other liquid. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning or removing contents from blender jar. To dislodge food: Use a rubber or plastic spatula to help remove food lodged around the cutting assembly. Replace the cover and measured pour lid and continue blending, if necessary. The blender is made of corrosion-resistant parts which are easy to clean. If any part is damaged or blender jar is chipped or cracked, DO NOT USE BLENDER. Remove the blender jar from the motor base by lifting straight up and away. Twist off the locking ring with cutting assembly by turning counterclockwise.
