Note: Due to the powerful motor provided with this unit, Cuisinart recommends using one hand to support the Mini-Prep® during operation. Then process at HI speed until chocolate is finely chopped, about 30 seconds. In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring margarine and milk to a boil. Add to Prep Bowl and process at HI speed until creamy, about 15 seconds. Add vanilla and salt; process at LO speed to incorporate, about 5 seconds. Makes 3/4 cup (180 ml) frosting, enough to frost one 8-inch (20cm) round layer cake. APPLESAUCE over medium-low heat until apples are soft, about 20-25 minutes. Add additional water while cooking, if necessary, to prevent scorching. For a smooth applesauce, process apples at LO speed until smooth, about 25 sec-onds. For a chunkier applesauce, pulse at LO speed until desired consistency is reached.
