[. . . ] The Configuration Manager is made of a series of tabs that allow you to set the variables required for your installation. Many of the fields on these tabs will be filled automatically upon installation, but the following procedures­listed by tab­ are provided in the event that manual configuration becomes necessary. File Location Tab The File Location tab of the Configuration Manager displays the install path of the configuration file for each installed component. If any configuration file is listed as "Not Found", clicking on that entry in the Configuration Manager will enable the Browse button which can be used to locate the file. NOTE: If your installation cannot find the appropriate files, call Crestron True Blue Technical Support at 1-888-CRESTRON. If the default values are not correct, enter the necessary information for each field. "Database" Tab If the database has not been created, click the Create Database button to execute import scripts that will create all database elements. CAUTION: If your database already exists and you need to retain it, be sure to back it up before proceeding with this procedure. Be sure to take note of the following warning alert. IP Address and Port Numbers Tab The IP Address and Port Numbers tab displays connection information for each service component. NOTE: The default addresses shown (i. e. , 127. 0. 0. 1) are the addresses of the local machine where you are installing RoomView 7. 0. If the default value is not correct, enter the correct URL to connect to the security web service. An unlicensed server is allowed 5 SIMPL Windows symbol connections. "Licensing" Tab To set a license, click the Update License button. NOTE: If RoomView 6. 0 was installed on the server you are now installing RoomView 7. 0 on, the required License Site Key will be automatically picked up during installation. "Crestron Licensing" Window 46 · Remote Asset Management Software: Crestron RoomView 7. 0 Enterprise Installation Guide ­ DOC. 6543 Crestron RoomView® 7. 0 Enterprise Remote Asset Management Software If you already have a site key on another computer and wish to transfer it, proceed as follows: · On the unlicensed or destination server, go to RoomView's Licensing tab on the Configuration Manager and click the Update License button. Click the License Transfer radio button and then the Prepare button. "Crestron Licensing" Window on the Unlicensed Server · The Save License window will open. Enter a name for the License Transfer File in the File Name field and click Save. "Save License" Window · Move the newly created License Transfer File to the server with the licensed installation of RoomView and copy it to the Desktop. This will open the Crestron Licensing window as shown below. Browse to the new License Transfer file and click Open. "Open the file with the license information" Window · · · The new License Transfer file is prepared and ready to be transferred back to the unlicensed computer. Transfer the file to the unlicensed server via your network, USB stick or floppy disk.
