The User IR, Macro, and SIMPL+ modules will need to be copied to their proper directories manually. File Types There are quite a few file types involved with Crestron control software. This section explains the different types that might be encountered in each directory. In many cases, the supplied software is grouped into a number of subdirectories. For example, after copying the files to the hard disk, the directory structure may appear as shown below. This is the main program that loads into the CNRACKX-DP and determines the exact functionality of the system. File Types in Programs Subdirectory FILE TYPE . asv . bin . dip DESCRIPTION SIMPL Windows auto-save file. This is the default IP Table that contains the IP addresses of all of the ethernet devices in the system. It is generated when the program is compiled and the CNRACKX-DP contains optional CNXENET+ expansion cards and ethernet devices. This file contains information required by Test Manager (see SIMPL Windows help for more information) for debugging programs in realtime. This is the SIMPL-C file that is generated from the SMW file when a program is compiled.
