[. . . ] Datalog 3 - SMS Software Application Sheet MOLYNX VISILYNX CCTV Module V1. 0 Introduction The Datalog 3 software will operate with the Molynx Visilynx, Visilynx2 and TTX600 series CCTV matrix when connected via a suitable interface to a Datalog serial port. When used with the Visilynx series a Card (PCBV309) should be fitted with PCCON2 firmware to allow Datalog control. A subset of the commands can sent by the Datalog can also be used to control a TTX309 standalone interface which converts the commands into the standard Molynx Data Protocol, allowing the PC, etc. [. . . ] If an entry is zero or blank then that particular camera/pre-position will not be switched upon alarm. The alarm monitor bank edit boxes allow the user to specify the monitor(s) which will be used for alarm purposes. These are split into two banks and the cameras will be displayed on alternate banks in multiple alarm conditions. If only one bank is required or less than four monitors are needed for alarm switching, then leaving the relevant monitor(s) as zero will override alarm bank and monitor call up actions. For example if a second alarm monitor bank is not required then leave all four bank 2 monitors as zero. The serial port and data rate settings are confirmed in the status bar at the bottom of the setup window. Press the `Save' button to store the changes and `Abort' to exit setup without saving. The `Text' button allows a test transmission which should simulate an alarm on the selected zone. Operation Automatic Camera Switching Operation The Datalog can pre-position up to 4 cameras upon alarm and allocate these 4 camera views to 4 monitors. Upon st the 1 alarm bank 1 monitors will be allocated cameras and subsequent alarms will be allocated to bank 2, then bank 1, then 2 etc. In situations when 2 banks are not required then a single set of alarm monitors may be used. When the Datalog is reset in a multiple alarm situation then camera views will be set to the alarm positions as each alarm is reset. Once the last alarm that references a given monitor is reset, the Datalog will issue the `Sequence Recall 1' command to the specific monitor.
