The maximum programme temperature is set at 60º C for delicates and 40º C for woollens, even if a higher temperature has been selected, so as to avoid damaging delicate items. Function and «ON/OFF» selection buttons l - ON/OFF The button is pressed: The machine runs the programme selected. Caution: For safety reasons, the machine will not start if the door is not properly closed, even if the indicator light is lit and the «ON/OFF» button is pressed. Do not exceed the «MAX» marking (maximum to the lower edge of the piece A) because the softener will be dragged into the water with the detergent at the start of the washing cycle, so having no effect in the fabric softening cycle. Wash white and coloured items separately, otherwise whites may take on colour. Risk of colour running. m Sort the laundry according to the maximum permitted load for the machine. Removing stains If possible, stains should be treated or removed as soon as they occur. Put the laundry in the washing machine ! Items which have been pre-treated with detergents containing solvents, for example stain removers, cleaning fluids, etc. , should be left to dry in the open air before washing. Check that there are no foreign bodies or animals inside the drum before putting the washing in. ! m Place the laundry loosely and unfolded in the drum. Mix large and small items. Shutting the door ! Shut the door, taking care to ensure that no items are trapped between the door and the rubber seal. m Shut the door by pressing it against the door frame until you hear the door lock engage.
