[. . . ] The OEM amplifier must be kept anyway in the system and is only necessary to disconnect the MOST optical fiber from it and insert its optical fibers on the DA1 BIT. Of course if the OEM speaker cables are to be used those must be disconnected from the OEM amplifier. If the OEM amplifier doesn't exist in the system, connect the optical fiber that are going out from the headunit direclt into the DA1 BIT in order to let the DA1 BIT be the first device on the MOST ring after the headunit. Configuring the DA1 BIT ATTENTION: PROCEED THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE BEFORE INSERTING THE MULTIPOLE CONNECTOR (4) INTO THE DA1 BIT. 1 - Verify the compativility of the car with the DA1 BIT through the compatibility list. Updated compatibility list can be download from www. connection. eu, at Integrated Solutions section. Choose the file DA1 BIT (Eng) under the "COMPATIBILITY LIST" column. 2 - Download also from download area of www. connection. eu, Integrated Solutions section, the "DA1 BIT CONFIG" file . The ZIP format file contains 5 folders: AUDI, BMW, MINI, MERCEDES, PORSCHE. Inside each folder you will find a file called "mobridge. ini" which will be used for the configuration. 3 - Select the file inside the folder of the brand of the car where the DA1 BIT is going to be installed. Before copying the file the SD CARD must be formatted FAT 32. WARNINGS: - All the configuration files has the same name ("mobridge. ini") but thei r content is diffent in regards to the folder (brand) where they are stored. -Only one "mobridge. ini" file must be present into the SD CARD. -The "mobridge. ini" configuration file must not be re-named or modified in the content in any way. [. . . ] 11 - If after 10 minutes it is impossible to hear any sound from the Audison BIT ONE verify that the Audison BIT ONE is correctly configured and that the Optical Input is selected on the Audison BIT ONE and that the rest of audio chain is properly working.
